Women in mathematics

The recently held International Congress of Mathematicians 2010 in Hyderabad saw seven leading mathematicians awarded top prizes – all men. This has led to a lot of debate on women,science, mathematics, society, interlinkages etc.etc. i didnot want to give up the opportunity of putting my two penny bit too.
